While 75% of net proceeds generated by the Affiliate this year ($2.83 million) stay in our 12 county service area, the remaining 25% funds the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Grants Program for breast cancer research. This year, $1.4 million has been awarded in research grants to Colorado.
