At Susan G. Komen for the Cure, volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Through involvement in our education outreach efforts, special events, administrative office-based projects, and our many committees, volunteers significantly contribute to the Komen mission to eradicate breast cancer forever.

Every event organized throughout the year by the Denver Metropolitan Affiliate, such as The Denver Race for the Cure®, would not be possible without the generosity of spirit of hundreds of dedicated volunteers. The Komen Foundation was founded on the ideal of being volunteer driven and is now admired world-wide as such. Volunteers are at the heart of every initiative at the Komen Foundation. You can make a difference!
At the Denver Affiliate, volunteers engage in projects ranging from representing Komen at various health fairs and speaking engagements in our community to providing administrative support in our office to planning and coordinating fundraising events like the Komen Denver Race for the Cure® and the Pink Tie Affair™.
